Arietta
Terms of Use
Last updated July 26, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and VedaStack LLC (“VedaStack”, “we”) covering your use of the Arietta iOS app (“Arietta”, the “app”). By downloading or using Arietta you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Important health disclaimer, please read
Arietta is a general wellness and fitness product. It is not a medical device, and it is not medical advice.
Arietta does not diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or medical condition, including obstructive sleep apnea or snoring. VedaStack is not a healthcare provider, and the people who make Arietta are not physicians, dentists, myofunctional therapists, or other licensed clinicians.
If you have, or think you might have, sleep apnea or any other sleep or breathing condition, please talk to a doctor. Sleep apnea is a serious condition that needs proper medical assessment. Do not use Arietta as a substitute for professional care, and do not stop, reduce, or change any treatment your clinician has prescribed — including CPAP or an oral appliance — on the basis of anything in this app. Talk to them first.
The exercises in Arietta are drawn from published research on orofacial and airway muscle training. That research is offered as background for your interest, not as a promise about your results. Individual outcomes vary, and published reviews of this literature note meaningful limitations in study quality. Arietta makes no claim about what will happen for you.
Practise gently and stop if it hurts. Mild, temporary tiredness or soreness in the tongue, jaw, or cheeks can happen with new muscle work. Pain, joint clicking, or symptoms that persist are a reason to stop and check with a professional. Consult a clinician before starting if you are pregnant, recovering from oral, jaw, throat, or dental surgery, or have a temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorder or any swallowing difficulty.
Research references
For transparency, the exercise protocols in Arietta draw on the following published work. Listing these sources is not a claim that Arietta will reproduce their results for you.
- Guimarães et al. (2009), American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine — oropharyngeal exercises in moderate OSA
- Camacho et al. (2015), Sleep — meta-analysis of myofunctional therapy protocols
- O’Connor-Reina et al. (2020), JMIR mHealth and uHealth — app-delivered myofunctional exercise trial

Subscriptions, trial, and billing
Arietta requires a subscription. New subscribers get a 3-day free trial, and nothing is charged during the trial.
- Monthly — $3.99 per month (US pricing)
- Yearly — $19.99 per year (US pricing)
Prices in other countries are set in local currency and shown in the app before you buy. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID and renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Your Apple ID is charged when the trial ends, and again at each renewal.
To cancel, open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions — or use Settings → Manage subscription inside Arietta. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies, not by VedaStack. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Because Arietta is delivered through the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the app. Where it conflicts with these Terms on a matter it governs, Apple’s agreement controls.
Your licence to use Arietta
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Arietta on Apple devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. You agree not to copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, redistribute, resell, or attempt to extract the source code or bundled content of the app, except where law expressly permits it.
Arietta, its name and branding, its exercise content, written copy, illustrations, animations, and coach videos are owned by VedaStack LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Your practice data is yours.
Acceptable use
- Use Arietta only as intended and in line with applicable law.
- Do not attempt to interfere with, circumvent, or defeat the app’s subscription or security mechanisms.
- Do not present Arietta’s content as medical advice or as your own.
Availability and changes
We may update, change, or discontinue features of Arietta, including individual exercises. We aim to keep the app working well, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. If we discontinue the app entirely, we will give reasonable notice where we can and you may cancel your subscription as described above.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Arietta is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that Arietta will produce any particular health, sleep, or fitness outcome.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VedaStack LLC and its members, officers, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of Arietta. Our total liability for any claim relating to Arietta will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or twenty US dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold VedaStack LLC harmless from claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your misuse of Arietta or your breach of these Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where the law of your country of residence requires otherwise. Nothing here removes consumer protections you have under the mandatory law of the place you live.
Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms. When we do, we will update this page and the date at the top, and material changes will be noted in the app. Continuing to use Arietta after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
